Problem

The old WebUI had the ability to switch between "narrative" and "facts" views for observations. This feature is missing in the current UI, resulting in less information being displayed.

Current Behavior

  • Single view mode only
  • Limited information density
  • No way to see raw facts vs. summarized narrative

Desired Behavior

Restore the view toggle from the old UI:

  • Narrative view: Human-readable summaries of what happened
  • Facts view: Raw/structured data showing exact tool calls, file paths, parameters

Additional Considerations

  • The current session view feels too sparse overall
  • Consider a complete redesign of the information architecture
  • Balance between clean UI and information density
  • Power users need access to detailed data without overwhelming casual users

Reference

Look at the old viewer implementation for the narrative/facts toggle implementation.
